From 2009 to 2023, the Foundation supported 37 Leon Levy Fellowships in Neuroscience at NYU Langone Health, initially at the Child Study Center under the leadership of Glenn Saxe, then shifting to the Neuroscience Institute under the leadership of Richard Tsien. NYU Langone hosted the Leon Levy Symposium in Neuroscience in 2015 and 2020. Today, postdocs from NYU Langone Health are eligible for the independently-awarded Leon Levy Scholarships in Neuroscience.
