Committee to Protect Journalists

New York, NY/International

The Committee to Protect Journalists promotes press freedom worldwide, defending the right of journalists to report the news safely and without fear of reprisal. CPJ mobilizes a network of correspondents who report and take action to protect journalists. The Foundation supports CPJ’s core work: justice for journalists who are killed, advocacy on behalf of imprisoned journalists particularly in areas of conflict, and support to journalists and their families through their journalist assistance program. The Foundation also supports CPJ’s archives through the development of critical digital infrastructure and technological upgrades.
