In 2014, the Leon Levy Foundation partnered with the Mehrangarh Museum Trust and the Courtauld Institute of Art to establish the Leon Levy Foundation Centre for Conservation Studies, a facility for teaching and conservation in Rajasthan, India, a site famous for its stunning complex of Mughal palaces and gardens. Committed to advancing the standards of conservation of cultural heritage in India, the Trust conducts a series of conservation training programs at Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur, and Ahhichatragarh Fort, Nagaur. Designed for professionals working in the field of conservation of tangible cultural heritage in India, the programs focus on conservation techniques including documentation, museum imaging, technical imaging, and photogrammetry.
