As President of the Leon Levy Foundation, Meredith Ross is responsible for all areas of the Foundation’s philanthropy and administration. She works closely with the Trustees to set strategy for grantmaking and investments, and collaborates with the talented staff on finance, operations, programs, and grants management. Meredith also partners directly with grantees on several of the Foundation’s major initiatives. She joined the Foundation in 2014 to manage grants and special projects and then served as program director until being appointed the Foundation’s third president in 2022.
Meredith spent the first fifteen years of her career in nonprofit development. She focused on foundation partnerships and streamlining fundraising operations at organizations including the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), NetAid, and MassINC. She holds a BA from Colby College and an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
